  1. This was not a legit Drake feature xDDD
Eriykah just got a bootleg Drake that has no history or popular songs whatsoever.
And "Phone Down" even uses the same sample as Drake's "Wu Tang Forever".
So this whole thing is just a mixtape about Drake for some reason.

  2. The album has a lot of screwed/chopped vibes which is really big in Houston/Dallas Texas rap (Erykah is from Dallas). As a Houstonian i really dug Phone down and whats yo phone number/telephone, these songs definitely rival any Houston rap artist past and present if you ask me. Definitely felt like she went heavy on the slow, screwed and chopped for good reason, its a side of her music she hasnt shown much. I think its the type of album where the real weird funky songs end up growing on you over time, at least for me.

Can definitely see how anyone who isnt familiar with Houston rap/chopped screwed doesnt really vibe on Whats youre phone number/phone down but theres even samples in those songslike "from the south, got them diamonds in my mouth from, from the south"… so you know she is paying homage to the Dallas/Htx rap game and i think it was so well done🙌

  3. Coming from her… I would expect more… Smh. Featured odd songs flat singing tones. A drake wanaBe and copy cat ideas. And to tie it all together about a phone? Yea… Music ol has changed a lot. 4/10

  4. Ugh, it's like genres of music that he doesn't like he just bashes them. And that's NOT Drake by the way, a simple google search could have avoided that mistake.

And it's like you don't get Badu's music..just admit that

  5. He dont realize that this whole mixtape did not derive from the hotline bling sample. She has phone themed songs throughout her career lol Telephone, which is sampled on this mixtape, and Tyrone, which this mixtape is named after the famous line from that song ( But you caint use my phone)

  6. Hey there, Fanthony Pantano.
How come no Selah Sue reviews? No love for some old continent R&B? I'm looking forward to hear your take on the evolution (or devolution thereof) between her two albums. Cheers, lad.
