IIT-BHU (Indian Institute of Technology - Banaras Hindu University) has indeed explained the method of making sanitizer at home. Sanitizers are important to keep our hands clean and free from germs, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Here is the method they have suggested: Ingredients: -
Isopropyl alcohol (99%) -
Hydrogen peroxide (3%) -
Glycerol (98%) -
Distilled water

Method:
1. Take a clean container and pour 75 ml of isopropyl alcohol into it.
2. Add 5 ml of hydrogen peroxide to the container.
3. Next, add 1.5 ml of glycerol to the mixture.
4. Mix all the ingredients well.
5. Add distilled water to the mixture until the total volume of the mixture reaches 100 ml.
6. Mix all the ingredients again.
7. Pour the mixture into a clean bottle and close the lid.
8. Label the bottle as "Sanitizer" and include the date of preparation.

It is important to note that the above method is only for making a small quantity of sanitizer at home and should not be used as a substitute for commercially available sanitizers. Also, it is recommended to use the sanitizer within a month of preparation.
